watersports

watersports

There's a great choice of watersports at nearby Loch Insh. Voted 'Best on the Water' facility in Scotland they offer a range of sailing dinghies, canoes, windsurfers, rowing boats and river trips. You don't have to be into watersports to find things to do at Loch Insh - they have a host of things to do on dry land as well. Hire a mountain bike and explore quiet roads and miles of forest tracks... Or try your hand at fishing for trout in their stocked lochan for beginners, or on Loch Insh for salmon, the king of fish.

And don't forget a try at archery, a swift slide down the dry ski slope - hopefully in the vertical position and a stroll round the interpretation trail, while the kids have a whale of a time in the adventure play area.

And at beautiful Loch Morlich, situated at the foot of the Cairngorm Mountains in the scenic Glenmore Forest Park, enjoy a wide range of activities - from watersports to walking, mountain biking to fishing, you will find activities to give many fun filled days. Meet a team of friendly, experienced and qualified instructors to teach you whatever your age and skill. And for the not so adventurous, watch from the boathouse coffee shop or relax on the beautiful 1km long natural sandy beach. On sunny days, a superb beach barbeque is run.

Enjoy the water on one of our weekend leisure breaks.

Carrbridge Golf Course

Carrbridge Golf Course

Carrbridge Golf Club was reformed in 1980 but there has been  a Golf Course on this site for over 100 years.

The course has been moulded around the natural contours of the land and as a result offers few man made hazards.
Burns abound and there is water somewhere on every hole.

The course rises to about 1000 feet to present excellent views of the Cairngorm Mountains.
